About SofThreads: Imagine walking in to your LYS, yarn catalog in hand, and saying, "Hi. You don’t have any of this on your shelves, but I am in need of a couple of this and a couple of that in these colors. Can you get it for me?" "No problem! We’ll order it up and get it sent on its way! We’ll even deliver it to your door so you don’t have to make the trip out here again." This is what SofThreads strives to be, on the internet. We basically special order all your favorite yarns for you and at a cost you would normally find at your local yarn shops. I created SofThreads to become the ideal place to online yarn shop. I love the convenience of online shopping, but I had a difficult time finding affordable online resources for yarn. I would find amazing discounts on yarn and yarn sales, but high shipping charges or minimum order requirements. I would get frustrated, and think how I may as well just keep shopping at WalMart! So began the dreams of what I would do if I ran an online yarn shop. And here is SofThreads! The point of SofThreads is to provide internet convenience and affordable solutions. In time, I hope to slowly build up an inventory so that SofThreads can be faster too. I love providing a product that is a source of passion for other people. Knitters and crocheters love their yarn. Personally, I crochet. So I know the joy I am sending out when I ship these yarns, and working here has been so much fun. I appreciate everyone’s business who has come to SofThreads for their yarn. I am especially grateful to those of you who have had to exercise some patience with me as I continue to learn more about this new venture.
